What our patients say

I just wanted to take a moment and share my story and wonderful experience with The Womans Sports Medicine Clinic and Doctor Sabrina Strickland at the Hospital for Special Surgery. As you can see, I am not “local” to NYC. It is an effort to come to Manhattan, but the effort it well worth it.
The entire experience at HSS has been positive and singularly focused on getting me back to sports. I cannot thank you or Sr. Strickland enough for giving me my life back…

Paulette G.

As someone who uses a wheelchair, and who has a very active life style, healthy shoulders are vital. I have returned to skiing, kayaking, and wheelchair marathoning and have fully resumed my normal activities.

I came to Dr. Strickland scared, anxious, and in immense pain as a result of a significant shoulder injury. From the outset Dr. Strickland balanced compassion and kindness with extreme thoroughness and competency. She recognized right away that my situation required a sense of urgency and in facilitating an immediate MRI she was able to quickly uncover and repair an issue that would have likely caused lifelong pain had it not been corrected in a timely manner.
